Labor Department To Accept Applications For Homeless Veterans Job Training And Assistance
Veterans can apply for grants to receive occupational skills training, on-the-job opportunities, and employment placement assistance.

The Department of Labour came forward to assist the organizations and agencies by giving them $25 Million and enabling them to provide training and employment services to veterans which in turn will help them to combat homelessness.
Administered by the department’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS), the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) grants will offer recipients a maximum of $500,000 per year for a duration of up to three years, totaling $1.5 million.
The grants provided by the Department of Labor will be used for providing occupational skills training, on-the-job training opportunities, and employment placement assistance.
