How to Check the Status of a Public Housing application?

All correspondence regarding application status will be provided via written notification. Upon approval of eligibility your name will be placed on the waitlist of the area to which you applied for. Once a unit becomes available to you the PHA will contact you to finalize the process. Again, due to the high need of rental assistance there often are long waits or waitlists that close due to the high demand.
