WIC Nutritional Initiative for Women, Infants, and Kids
Eligibility for the WIC program
If you are applying for assistance under the WIC program, then you must meet at least one of the following criteria. The women applying for the program should be:
- Pregnant
- Breastfeeding until baby’s first birthday
- Within six months after giving birth or pregnancy termination.
Moreover, if you are applying for your children, ensure that your children must be below 5 years of age. Also, you must fulfill other WIC eligibility requirements based on your income, health, and residency.
