VA Loans to Buy, Refinance or Improve a home
The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) provides home loans and grants to veterans and surviving spouses for buying, refinancing, or modifying their homes. The VA will cover a portion of the loan if you default. Consequently, the lenders which include banks and mortgage companies offer you more favorable terms.
Eligibility Criteria and How to Apply for a VA Loan?
You need to find out if you qualify for the VA home loan or not.
The credit and income requirements must be met along with getting a certificate of eligibility (COE). If you want the COE feature to work, you also need to log in to ebenefits. The VA home loan limits must be reviewed to understand the amount of entitlement on your COE.
You can apply online through your lender or by mail for a VA Home Loan or any other Housing Related Assistance.
