Visit USPS.com to change your address online- It is the fastest and easiest way to do so and immediately gets you an email confirming that the address has been changed. The charges for changing the address online are $1.10. For this, you need a valid email address, credit card, and debit card. You no longer need to pay a separate company for changing your address. The scammers often charge $40 or more using the moving section of the official USPS.com website.
Visiting the local post office and requesting a mover’s guide – The mover’s guide packet will include PS Form 3575. You need to fill out the form and hand it over to the postal worker behind the counter. The other way is dropping the letter mail slot inside the post office. In five business days, you’ll receive a confirmation letter at your new address.
