U.S. Postal Service Issues

If you are moving and want to change your address to continue to receive the mail, then you can visit the USPS.com/move website to change it online or visit the local post office. You’ll receive the confirmation in five working days. You can also forward or hold your mail for a limited amount of time. If you are moving temporarily, then you can forward your mail to a new address for 15 days to one year. You need to fill out the change of address form and learn about the other mail forwarding options. You can hold your mail for 30 days at the local post office until you come back. It’s better to request this in advance before you want the hold to start. You can file a complaint at the local post office and speak to the station manager. If you suspect any fraud, then you can file an online mail fraud complaint. Reach out to the postal regulatory commission to complain about the major policy change.  With the help of the zip code lookup tool, you can search for the zip code by address, city, and company name. For searching the post offices, you can make use of the post office locator.
