Hold your Mail
The USPS can hold your mail at the local post office until you return in case you are away for three to thirty days. Request for this service in 30 days advance or before you want the hold to start.
Create and sign in to a USPS account– Figure out if hold mail service is available for your address and choose the dates accordingly.
You need to sign up for the USPS mail forwarding service if you want your mail to be held longer than 30 days.
