The Department of Housing and Urban Development is on its mission to provide decent and affordable housing to Americans with low-income. Within the United States there are 10 different geographical regions that HUD has been divided into. Depending on where your state is located you would be zoned to one of these Regional Offices. Subsidized Apartments – HUD helps apartment owners offer reduced rents to low-income tenants. To apply, contact or visit the management office of each apartment building that interests you.
