The Department of Labour made an announcement confirming $25 Million in funds to help organizations and agencies so that they can provide training and employment services to veterans which in turn will help them combat homelessness.
The Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS) administers the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) awards and will provide grantees around $500,000 which will amount to $1.5 Million for three years.
These grants can be used to provide occupational skills training, on-the-job training opportunities, and employment placement assistance.
If you are interested in applying for the VETS, do join the webinar on March 7 at 3 pm ET.
